Before the Moon Rises

Its third quarter moon so there is some astronomical twilight that ended up with clear skies so I decided to open the North Shore Observatory for a few hours and gather some star light; its been a while as I’ve been travelling and weather has not been cooperative recent.

First target is my next project I’m working on, a wider Iris Nebula shot to complement my narrow field shot earlier this summer. I’ll obviously need additional data which I’m hoping to collect over the next few nights as we move towards New Moon.

I also took a bit of time to collect Pleiades. More data would be beneficial as time goes on, but for now a solid early evening.
